New Year's Administrivia
Jan. 3rd, 2005 10:05 ammaking all such resolutions irrelevant. But I do have some goals: more writing, more cooking. Boring goals, eh? So how about also: more poker. More hickeys. More taking suggestions – that’s a hint, comment people. Make a suggestion for a fun new year’s goal for me, and, I dunno, I’ll give you a cookie or something.
My 2004 was a little bumpy, but I like the way things are going, for the most part.
I celebrated well. Thanks to all who were present for any phase of it.
I’m a little tired and down in that post-deadline sort of way, but I’ll get over it.

Date: 2005-01-03 06:52 pm (UTC)A beignet party! Seriously, all you'd need is a space big enough to roll the dough out on and something to fry them in. (Neither of which I have.) If no one has a recipe, the mix can probably be found at a grocery store or ordered online. It would be fun and you'd probably be a lot less likely to get an overwhelming amount of product to fry like you did at the latke bash.
Um, yeah, I picked up a bit of an addiction in New Orleans. Why do you ask?
