The minor aggravations of the morning
Jun. 12th, 2003 11:56 amMy compter is being crankier than I am this morning; I had to restart it about five times for no apparent reason other than that it hates all web browsers today. Or all web browsers hate it. Or me.
I thought I had an assignment to write this morning, but when I woke up, I found it had been cancelled (last night, but I didn't bother to open the email when I got it). I could've gotten in some writing time for just me, I suppose, except for the computer ups-and-downs.
I'm bored by my job, and simultaneously worried that it may end soon and leave the household in economic free-fall. (Since I'm a contractor, I'm not sure I'd get unemployment.)
It's cold outside. And overcast. Which makes the flowers seem more vivid, but doesn't help my spirits. I got enough sleep, but still I feel sleepy.
So, nothing cosmic. Just the kind of day where I'd rather crawl back under the covers with some tea and many cats.
