OK. *Those* I can't arrange 24/7. Darn. The world would be a better place with a 24/7 Citizen Cake always nearby. Can I go to the alternate universe where McDonald's has one shop in downtown San Francisco and Citizen Cake is a mighty chain?
someone in my department just turned up with a box of Specialty's cookies. I snagged the one chocolate chip-oatmealie-type thing they make. bad girl, trying not to eat sugar at work! but so, so good!
yeah, me either, except the aforementioned chocolate-oatmeal or wheat germ ones. I'm not sure what's in them exactly, but they're just disgustingly right for me.
It's one great reason to go to the fair every year -- but then I am from funnel-cake country.
(I'd go to the fair even if it didn't have funnel cake, or pierogies, or Amish-made cheese, or any of the other treats. I love the exhibits and the people and the animals.)
Speaking of custard, I had some of the best ever custard french bread french toast when i was in sac over the weekend. they even added homemade cinnamon whipped cream.
