Jeff Chang's Can't Stop Won't Stop: A History of the Hip-Hop Generation is so compelling, just as storytelling, that I am putting off my urge to pick up a research book or two and start reading and jotting notes on a certain big project that's been niggling at me for, well, years now, in order to finish it properly. Remember, it's a huge book. This could take a few weeks yet.

I still regret that nobody will pay me to read full-time the books that *I'm* interested in. (I hate book review gigs. Sorry.)
