Made beef stroganoff last night, due to a craving. Delicious. Could use some tweaking, but only a touch. (I want the mustard to be slightly less assertive, but the sauce to still maintain its bite.)

The butcher cut up the meat for me (actually, for Steven, who did all the shopping due to my tight schedule this week). Isn't that sweet? I love real butchers.

G. has not yet had a stroke through two tense US World Cup qualifying matches in one week. Also, Panama tied Mexico and Israel tied France, which is cool in the "this is so wrong" sort of amazement way.

Snap peas are here!

I would really like it if someday, somehow, my calendar were reduced to one or two events per week (not counting weekends). Really. Someday.

Or maybe I should just have more people over my way. And feed them, of course. That would involve some cleaning and straightening and possibly even rewiring of the house, but the nice computer really should move off the coffee table *someday*.

Well, if you hadn't told me about someone looking for help, you'd only have two scheduled at this point next week. ;)

Who's your butcher? I would love to have a real butcher. I know, this is not a sentence people would expect from me, but yeah, who's your butcher?
