Making Up For Being Sick

pantryslutI finished a story today. A couple hours' work. I mean, I'm in the "bored" stage of being sick where I've taken all the naps I can and I'm dosed up with tea and comfort food (blender shakes and popsicles and tapioca pudding, mmmm), and I don't feel especially sick except for the fever and the sore throat, and I can't get together with any friends because I'm probably contagious. I just don't have much left to do but write.
So I did.
And now it's done.
I like it, too.
We'll let it age for a week and then see what I think then.
And then maybe I can tell everyone about it in public. (Private's OK now.)
