Thanks for all your supportive comments on my last post telling me I'm a) productive and b) out of my mind for even briefly thinking otherwise :)

For the record, it's just coincidence -- some projects have been delayed, some are progressing extra-fast, and as a result there's a small logjam of books with me in them.

Also, two of those are web-to-print reprints, and one was something sitting unpublished in my drawer for a couple years, so it's weird coming out of what feels like a fallow period to discover that yes, my name is still out there and then some.

Now if I could only figure out what's going on with Ultimate Lesbian Erotica...

Update: Alyson's site lists ULE 2005 as available for order. Or is it pre-order? Hm. It may be time for an e-mail. It's been a year since I sent back my contract et. al.

If the story got cut at the last minute, it would be the second time it's happened for this particular piece. I'm beginning to think it's too...something.

Or I could just be paranoid. (And unpaid.)

I have to say that Blowing Kisses is sort of trying my patience. It's been like 2 years or something and still no hide nor hair of the thing.

If it wasn't for the fact that I ran into someone who had just been proofing the galleys at a party at WisCon, it would be firmly in the "written off as MIA" category. A la ULE.

Something's screwed up. ULE did come out, quite some time ago, but it does occur to me that I don't recall whether I got paid. I certainly got the books (but I'm away from home for a few days so don't have them to hand). And the 2006 one has now sent out acceptances; I didn't send anything, but three people have taken delight in informing me that stories I turned down for one or another of my first two anthos have made it into ULE.

Write something for my new Pretty Things Press antho! Much to my amazement the funds to pay writers have already come through.
