pantryslutGot the sides of my head shaved last night. My friend Charles did the honors. Now I look tres butch. Believe it or not, that wasn't the intention -- not that it's an unpleasant side effect either. But mostly, I wanted to be rid of all that damn hair. How did I ever live with three feet of hair?
Away from my head, my hair is very dark. Almost black. No wonder nobody noticed when I was dyeing it.
I also cut my foot on some plastic on the floor of Charles and Debbie's house, without noticing, and left little bloody footprints all over the floor.
I have too many things on my plate today. Must stop by the office, must finish reviews. Steven is volunteering to shelve books at the new bookstore on Valencia.
Someday soon, I might even get around to talking about movies and books and stuff, though mostly I've been reading Tiptree books (interspersed with slivers of delightful prose from the memoirs of Lorenzo Da Ponte) and, well, you'll all get to see my comments on those books next year, won't you? Moviewise, last night I saw Beyond Vanilla, and last week or so, Pirates of the Caribbean. Maybe I just don't have much to say about them.
Writingwise, nothing doing. Notes on horses and Indonesia. Gotta write a prose poem by Wednesday.
