I brought my lunch today.

In my lunch were small greyish stringy bits that I didn't remember being there the first time.

This perplexed me. But it didn't stop me from eating lunch.

As I neared the bottom of my handy plastic container, I realized what they were.

They were the freed insides of large chopped capers.

Neat! And tasty, too!

Well, I made the salad myself on Sunday, so I was pretty confident it was benign.
