OK, so the poem turned out fine. Not perfect (hey, that's what revision is for!), but not fucked-up like I was worried about. Writing drama is over now.
btw, I spent all afternoon at work updating our mail and web browser (to Mozilla), so that means no more funny glitchy characters at the bottom of my posts when I post from here. Yay!
