depression update, day one

pantryslutOK, I confess. I jumped the gun on my depression and broke down in the car on the way back from LA on Monday. The subsequent mudslides on the highway are pure coincidence unless you believe especially strongly in that synchronicity thing.
Which means I'd mostly resolved my issues (this is a situational depression, after all) by last night. Which left feeling sorry for myself and taking it easy, because Lord knows I could use a few quiet days anyway.
So it was bonbons and baseball all the way. And cold leftover Chinese food out of the carton for dinner. And draperies of cats.
I will continue to feel sorry for myself today and tonight as planned, and then I will suck it up and move on to something new on Friday.
