imnotandrei) job starts today? That's right, the call came yesterday morning, the phone interview took place about noon, he was hired by the end of the day, and his first day is today. Explanations of how this is possible are available on request.
He left at about 6:30 this morning. I couldn't get back to sleep after he left, so I've been up about four hours earlier than usual, writing and puttering and making myself breakfast.
The house is awfully quiet. And who is going to do my proofreading this afternoon?
At least lunch is covered. Good old leftovers.
