Now that you mention it, I do vaguely remember meeting you there. But at that point, I'd only been living in SF two months, and everything was new and sparkly and a little confusing/distracting. Hard to believe I've been here now...seven years going on eight? Longer than I lived in Chicago.
You're right, it makes me all nostalgic :)
I've totally lost track of Rob, and haven't heard from Wolfie in a while, either, though I hear *of* her more than occasionally. Couldja point me in the direction of Rob's journal? I would be ever so appreciative.
For the peanut gallery, who wants to know what the hell we're talking about: The Second Coming, a lovely leatherdyke anthology, printed a poem of mine -- one of my first ever professional sales, pulled out of the slush pile of the late lamented Venus Infers, and written just before I went on my extended poetry hiatus that just ended more or less this year. (It's a prose poem, because I was struggling with my line.)

Date: 2003-08-15 07:31 pm (UTC)I happened upon our copy of The Second Coming last night and
found that not only had Rob S., Patrick and Wolfie signed it,
but so had you.:)
Guess we musta met in RL at the Different Light reading for the book release
many moons ago.
Rob and Wolfie are still friends. Rob even has an LJ.
::sighs wistfully::
Back when s/m was controversial. Made me feel like an old WWII codger,
"well, children, back in the lesbian sex wars..."
