Say you had maybe a half-pound of key limes (and you didn't want to make [livejournal.com profile] misia's lime curd). What would you do with them?

P.S. Unlike the trout, this is not a question for future reference.

This is a trick question, right? Key Lime Pie, of course.

Make margaritas. Use them in a thai curry.

Limeade. Lime and mango fruit salad (with half a dash of cayenne pepper). Lime & mango tarts. Lime, ginger, and cilantro marinade for chicken (or beef, for that matter...), especially if you have a grill for the meat.

Half a pound isn't that many, is it? 6 to 8 of them?

It's probably closer to 3/4 of a pound, about 10 or so. Still not a lot.

I vote for Key Lime Pie. Or a Corona party. Sangria, Margaritas?

Limes, too, not just oranges? Sad.

all citrius fruits. oranges are the only ones worth the consequences. i'd give my left nut to not be allergic to oranges.

Caipirinha party! I've got the cachaça and sugar. You bring limes and ice.

Dammit that wasn't *supposed* to be anonymous.

Does your cachaça have a funny label?

Other than being in portuguese? I don't think so. It was just some decent cachaça I picked up at Tower Market for making caipirinhas.
