Hall Of Editing Shame

borggrrl points out that I made a mistake in my capsule review of final_girl's new book (in Girlfriends, on newsstands now, I forget which issue). It's her third book, folks, not her second.

I wish I could blame it on the copy editors, like I did when the same magazine inserted "the capital of Ottawa Province" into my article on Toronto. I had to apologize profusely to all my Canadian friends and explain that yes, I knew my geography better than that.

Instead, I blame it on lack of fact-checkers. Well, and on lack of fact-checking on my part. Mea culpa.
