Interlude: Food
Oct. 2nd, 2003 08:29 pmYesterday in the box:
A large bunch (well, bag) of arugula
Three red bell peppers
Four apples
Two onions (ate one tonight)
about two pounds of various varieties of tomatoes
Left over from last week:
a pint or so of cherry tomatoes
three or four more red bell peppers
the ubiquitous late-season melons (one canary, one something else)
four heads of garlic
more apples
I also have one large and one tiny Delicata squash.
Any meal planning suggestions?
Further notes: some of the peppers are good for roasting, but others are the thin-skinned Gypsy types, which are better for frying.
I also got pistachios!
