Interlude: food again, and migraines
Oct. 6th, 2003 10:41 pmI accidentally bought celery greens (cutting celery) instead of parsley at the farmer's market. Is there anything I can do with them besides stuffing or stock?
I wrote a long post earlier in which I described my recent trouble with migraines and lunchtime, but my computer crashed when I tried to save it. So to make a long story short -- I'm having trouble eating lunch before lack of food triggers a migraine. This sucks, and I'm trying to figure out strategies to fix it. It's been under control for a while, but I seem to have gone off the rails a bit when I moved. Suggestions, lunch hints, and so on gladly taken.
Note: As migraines go, these are pretty mild. And they're generally manageable. (Oh, and since my visual disturbances occur after the pain and not before, it sure is fun to lie in bed and watch the rivers flow through the ceiling. Really.) In fact, I've only had one full-blown case so far. But it's taken a lot of Excedrin and rapid application of tea or cola to keep it that way lately, and I think it's time I worked harder at prevention again. No new triggers that I know of, just bad habits getting the best of me.
