Perverts Put Out was a huge success. I was worried because we were (accidentally!) cross-scheduled against so many great events. But we packed the space! And the readers, each and every single one of them, were so strong, so *on*. Simon and I were saying to each other that night that we think this was easily one of the best PPOs ever.
I love the CounterPULSE! space, too, it's perfect for us.
But it was you, audience, that made it what it was. I saw so many of you that night, and some of you I think I managed only to say hello to in passing, and I am sad about that, a little, but rest assured, I saw your faces in the audience and I was thinking of you and I am glad you were there, not from a selfish place but from a sharing place. I am glad to share such wonderful performances with you.
I am so happy to be running this event. I am so happy that it continues to be such a strong reading series.
Also, it is much less nerve-wracking to perform when you're not reading your own words. This speaks well for my burgeoning career in found poetry, btw. :)
We haven't set the date for the next PPO, but we're looking at early April.
Thank you all again for a wonderful night.

glad fun was had and poems were spitted in a sisterly, bearlesquesque and otherwise perverted fashion.
sorta glad the karebearoke was cancelled, tho sorry that guy was/is sick -- would love to partake, in the singin, not the sickness.
