Now, that's just *weird*. Mister NotAndrei and ?Nadyalec? and I went there after the reading. I'd never been there before and was charmed. Plus also my chocolate malted was really good (but they should have given me the can).
Oh, no, I love It's Tops Cafe. I meant during the reading, it would be more interesting to be at the $3 Bill Cafe. I love the food too, and yes, I find it odd that they're a bit stingy with the shakes. And it would be even better if they'd find a wider variety of rock 'n' roll etc. from the '50s and early '60s, IMHO. .
I think I was marvelling over the 'plate of shrimp' phenomenon, but on further thought, it *was* sort of the obvious place to go once I put the kibosh on Sparky's. (Which, as I said at the time, is only good for when the only thing open is Denny's.)
