Housewarming Guests Beware
Nov. 10th, 2003 06:57 pmI bought little dried crab snacks at the Japantown supermarket (formerly Maruwa, now some name that starts with an N) today.
These crab snacks are actual whole small crabs, dried and seasoned. Legs and all.
imnotandrei and I actually had a little tug-of-war over whether I was going to be permitted to bring these home. "You really want them, don't you? You're going to gross out our guests."
At least one guest has already said, and I quote, "Ew! You know I'm going to have to try them."
I promise not to inflict them upon the unwary or uninterested. I promise to have vegan food available too. I promise I will behave myself and not create a food art centerpiece with the crabs showcased.
I promise to eat one myself.
