Peggy Munson's book, Origami Striptease, is utterly, utterly brilliant, worth reading and then some, and justifiably nominated for a Lambda Literary Award.
Last week, the Lambda Literary Foundation censored her reading.
I was at that event, partly to see her read. I can therefore say for certain that the excuses about her work being "too straight" and "too sexual" are just that -- excuses.
Feh.
P.S. do consider wititing a letter to the Lambda folks.

I thought these books were about the authors, not the content (or is it the other way around? I don't even know, though I know it was an issue that I asked about at some point). Regardless, isn't there a bisexual category? I just find it bizarre that this would happen at this level.
But hell, stranger things have happened with the lammies -- remember the transphobe (or was it homophobe?) dealy a few years ago?
