Weekend update later. For now:

Vertigo is no fun. Especially when they keep me from silent movies and brunch. :( Fortunately, it's gone now.

(For worriers: I get spells from time to time, have since forever. Associated with: migraines, head congestion, not eating, and muscle tension in the neck. The lattermost seems to have been most the issue today, with a side of allergies.)

(P.S. Did you know that you can use Hitachi Magic Wands for the purpose for which they were intended, and they work? Ask me how I know!)

you know, I tried that once, the Hitachi thing. had an unforgiving evil crick in my shoulder. it sort of worked, kind of, a little. glad it worked better for you, glad your malaise is gone now.

I, too, have used my Magic Wand for its officially intended purpose. It's sometimes the only thing that will break my tension headaches.
