weekend notes as (un)usual

Saturday's "Perverts Put Out!" show was amazing. And I do not speak out of arrogance -- if I had broken my leg that afternoon and ended up at the hospital instead of on stage, it would still have been amazing (and I would have missed it, so I'm glad it didn't happen that way!). Thank you, everyone who attended. Thank you, those of you who performed. Special shout-out to my co-organizer Simon Sheppard, who made a point of thanking me from the stage. Y'all couldn't see how hard I blushed, but I did.

Sunday, the plan was to go see The Simpsons and then head to Dore Alley, but only the first half of the plan actually happened. The movie was fun, and it was a good way to spend what turned out to be a lazy sort of Sunday. Instead of exhausting myself in the sun, I finished up some freelance stuff, wrote a little, ate some delicious food, and cuddled a little. I think I probably needed that.
