My accomplishment of the day: sending testy email to a graduate program. To wit:
"The "program information" page comes up gibberish when I try to access it.
I am using a Mac, OS 8.6. I have tried this page both in Mozilla
1.0 and Netscape 7.0. If I use Internet Explorer (which I realize is not
recommended), I can see the pull-down menus, but I cannot use them.
Without this page, I cannot complete my application. It seems unfair to have to
pay $15 more to submit by paper because of a coding error on your part."
And I know it is a coding error on their part, because I am a geek. One look at the gibberish page and I said, "scripting error. Great."

Oddly, places like Stanford always include it, but Jim-Bob Babtist College always figures you know they're in Toad Suck, Arkansas.
