Body:

* My shoulder hurts. This morning, it is quite stiff too.
* I have been battling a headache for several days now.
* My toe was really bothering me, so I bought new shoes. I am fine now. I am bouncing around in new shoes, wanting to walk everywhere. This effect will fade soon, but for now, whee! (FYI: Danskos, "Calla.")
* Aches and pains aside, though, I am pretty darn pleased with this body that I have.

Food:

* I roasted a pork roast from the Fatted Calf, stuffed with quince and things, for dinner last night. Wow! Pork roast! Yum! I may do that more often.
* The pea shoots, though, were tough. Tasty, but tough.

Other:

* I have a new co-worker coming next week who is someone I know and like a lot.
* Since I decided against doing a certain training this fall, I have decided to dedicate much of that time to writing instead. On a specific project thingie that I have been working on fitfully for a long time. I am scared and excited.

can you direct me to resources or recipes for pork-making? i do really well with poultry and beef, but pork is one meat i consistently fail at. it's always dried out and flavorless, no matter what i do.

your pork sounds very delicious.

I would recommend either of Bruce Aidell's books, The Complete Book of Meat or the Complete Book of Pork. The former is handy for everything, and that's what I use more.
