Remind me to tell you all why Fat White Vampire Blues was so much fun to read. Enough that I will forgive his mistreatment of both female characters.

Amusingly enough, the acknowledgements page namechecks one of my Clarion classmates.

I'm so glad you enjoyed "Fat White Vampire Blues." My follow-up book, "Bride of the Fat White Vampire," will be released from Ballantine on August 3, 2004 (Amazon already has a mocked-up cover on display). I think you might be more pleased by the fates of (some of, not all) my female characters in the second book. By the way, who did you go to Clarion with? The only person I knew of from my writing group who attended Clarion was Theresa, who moved to Washington, DC a number of years ago, transferred there by the IRS. She was a wonderful writer, a good friend, and always very supportive to everyone in the group; all of us really miss her.

I hope you'll pick up a copy of "Bride" this summer. Have a wonderful 2004!

Best wishes,
Andrew Fox
