1. Iron Man was fun! Not perfect, but entirely watchable. I really like the fact that they were able to find the humor without undermining the more serious parts of the story. Good acting also helps a movie always :) And I think I might even like Gwyneth Paltrow as long as she stays on the strawberry side of blonde from now on.

2. Speaking of food and pregnancy, I had two hot dogs and a bag of free popcorn for dinner last night, and I couldn't have been happier. Well, they were really good hot dogs, and we ate them in the Day of the Dead Cafe next to the Grand Lake, the place that used to be Colonel Mustard's and a burrito place before it was bought by a funky interracial couple who dropped the burritos, redecorated, and added a coffee stand instead. G. looked up at the skull print fabric on the ceiling and discussed the baby blanket possibilities. Yeah.

Among the other things that made it fun, principal female character having awkward moment of attraction with principal male character and then both getting on with working together without letting it define the relationship or mess it up, is a definite win for me.
