At Year's End
Dec. 31st, 2003 09:00 amI am not going to do any of those year-end memes, because this year has been too wild to sum up in a couple of paragraphs or a questionnaire, and there are still parts I don't really want to talk about, at least not in public. Fuck processing, I'd like to just leave it behind me.
Not that an enormous amount of good stuff didn't come my way in 2003, too, stuff I am deleriously grateful for. (Go back and look at my cheesy Thanksgiving moment if you want the details). I am so happy now, here in Oakland, it almost makes me cry. All I need to do is figure out the economics thing. All I want is for the upward trajectory to continue. Am I better off now than I was last year? Yes, oh yes, in so many ways yes.
The biggest thing I learned: I have great friends.
