I got my last phone sex check this afternoon.*

This coincides neatly with the fact that I got Issue #2 of Problem Child back from the printers this weekend. The masthead reads, "this zine funded by loose change, used CDs, and phone sex."

And all the lovely folks who attended Saturday Night's Perverts Put Out! event, of course.



* technically, I can go back to work any time I please, I'd just been waiting for this little payment dispute to disentangle itself before I did so. But I've kinda lost my enthusiasm for the work -- not to mention the time to do it in.

It was a convergence of several factors -- I moved, the company moved, Steven was around the house a lot more, I had trouble getting my last check. I was also kinda bored with my most loyal client, who was great fun to talk to (and who helped me ejaculate for the first time!), but who wanted me to be the perfect submissive *and* who wanted to talk to me on the phone for three hours straight! Which made for great paychecks, but a touch of burnout eventually too.

I still might go back to it someday. I really enjoyed it when I had the time to devote to it.

If I remember correctly -- I'd have to dig up my paperwork to be 100% sure -- I got a "base pay" of something-I-can't-remember for a 5, 10, or 15-minute call, and $0.45/minute thereafter. I get the impression this isn't the highest rate in the biz, but the call volume is steadier.
