Jan. 11th, 2011 01:23 pmMy doula, due to her familial association with a certain role-playing game publisher, gave the family a plush Cthulhu doll as a birth gift. Today April plucked it from the shelf.
"Oh, a spider!" she said.
I corrected her gently. "Actually, that's not really a spider. His name is Cthulhu."
She frowned in concentration and looked into the plushie's eyes.
"Tofu," she pronounced.
