1. Rapunzel Tangled was better than I expected, if you can excuse the job they did on poor Mother Gothel.

2. I am so happy March is over and done with.

3. I can haz new dining room table. Anyone interested in an old, funky ex-art-project square table with slightly rickety zigzag legs and lots of character?

4. April (the daughter, not the month) was quite upset that she didn't get a chance to paint at Kindergym today. It's the first time I've ever seen her throw a tantrum in that space. On the other hand, her positive negotiation skills are really sharp. When I told her painting was done, she screamed incoherently for a bit, then screamed "ball pit!" "Yes, you can go in the ball pit," I said, and the screaming stopped. She still sobbed a little as she crossed the room but was laughing by the time she leaped off the rim into the pit proper.

5. I am so off the radar, aren't I?

I too thought Rapunzel wasn't terrible, though I didn't love the ending. I liked the guys in the bar and their dreams. And I actually also liked that Rapunzel was an unapologetically femme Disney princess whose main skill is not physical badassness. It's nice to see a non-River get her way too.

Our youngest (the innocent looking one in the icon) had her first epic tantrum in... a year? at least 6 months... when told she couldn't do Art at choice time in Kindergarten. (Apparently, it was an hour, with screaming and hitting. I'm amazed they didn't call us to come get her.)

Because, you know, paint is Addictive.

Ahah, I really liked Tangled too, despite feeling as though the lyricist was totally phoning it in! ("I brush and brush and brush my hair!")

And I liked a lot that it was Rapunzel's story despite the insert of Flynn, and I keep wanting to rewatch Princess and the Frog to compare the two.

I am so glad I'm not the only one who felt that way about the lyrics.
