Today, Simone is Santa Claus.
Meanwhile, April is a robot, as indicated by the masking tape circles on her calves and forearms.

Date: 2011-06-18 02:26 am (UTC)I spent the week (and will spend next week)with children the next younger rank from April and Simone -- children whose language hasn't quite developed enough for them to become Santa Claus and robots. Their biggest concerns all week have been: getting and holding on to plastic keys: getting and holding onto the rideable toy cars that the keys can fit into: and getting and holding onto the right baby dolls (there are scads of baby dolls, but only certain ones are right, apparently: the important thing is a small cloth body and plastic head, for this group): and most of all, climbing as high as possible, and then a bit higher, especially if they can do it on tables or shelving where they aren't supposed to be climbing, fast enough that they get to the top before we catch them.
eating chalk, paint and markers is only a pastime.
