pantryslut1. The Pepsi Santa commercials offend my family honor.
2. I have complicated feelings about the space shuttle thing. The weird unexamined American myopia around it all in particular. But also some of the other underlying assumptions around space programs in general -- the need for a frontier, the way that the vernacular of space exploration completely recapitulates the language of colonialism, the sheer ego of humans to think that our bodies need to go into space Or Else...something. I'm sorry, folks, I guess can't relate.
3. One step closer (pun unintentional) to a podiatrist appointment.
4. Hey! I have a birthday in a month and change. I should get on that.
