Good Lord! -- why would her death be funny? Because she had addictions? We've been covering this whole thing all week in the celebrity section of the paper and thank god nobody mentioned anything funny ha-ha about it. The humanity! Going to read the links. Did you see Russell Brand's essay on her? It was badly copy edited but touching.
