Our cat Nadine died.

Three foster cats moved in.

I researched and visited a lot of preschools and settled on a very part-time place a block downhill from our house. It was a good choice. Girls are thrilled with school. I am thrilled with the extra time.

We seem to have completed potty training, naptime and bedtime diapers excepted.

We transitioned from a crib to a mattress on the floor.

We gave up bottles at bedtime.

Simone had her first haircut.

Simone also dislocated her elbow and thus had her first emergency room visit.

April merely had her first (and so far only) ear infection.

The girls experienced their first earthquake.

I broke up with two people.

I started some long-term projects of the writing and performing variety.

I wrote a lot of beauty mini-article nonsense.

I wrote some stuff about parenting and sex.

I got a gold crown (dental variety).

I had my first mammogram.

I got a tattoo.

I got a new computer. Hello first laptop!

I had to precipitously change my e-mail from an address I'd held onto for over a decade.

We traveled to Cincinnati for Thanksgiving so that, among other things, the twins could meet their grandfather. This was not their first trip via airplane but they were only eight months old for the first, so it was momentous nonetheless.

My parents and sisters came to visit us during Pride Month.

I sat on a panel at FOGCon.

I discovered that one of my stories may have been reprinted without authorization in the UK.

I sold exactly one story that should appear in pixel form Any Day Now. Stay tuned.
