More on that fairy thing
Jan. 27th, 2012 11:27 amI blame the kids. And Circlet Press.
See, we were watching a movie put out by a Big Children's Media Conglomerate, and one of their mascots appeared on the screen. "Princess Fairy!" they both cried. And I suddenly realized that my kids have no concept of human princesses.
And then there's that Erotic Shakespeare CFS. And once upon a time I wrote an erotic Shakespeare story about Oberon and Titania and their Indian boy, see. And I suddenly had this vision of the entirety of Fairyland as akin to the Russian Court after the revolution -- exiled to another land, clinging to the roles and routines and trappings of aristocracy for as long as possible, all a charade.
I want to read that story. Please tell me it's already out there. I can't be the first.
