In Other News!

pantryslut1. G. and I had a date night last night. We chose to watch "The Hunger Games," which was a better movie than I expected, to be honest, and left me in a white-hot rage. Seriously. I still can't talk about it without getting teeth-gnashy.
2. We went to Dolores Park today to check out the new playground. It lives up to the hype. It was also crowded as hell, but that's OK, we still had fun. I think I'll take the girls over on a weekday soon so we can spend less time standing in lines for the slides and also have some lunch in the Mission. (And ice cream!)
Speaking of the slides, the tall narrow one makes me vertiginous. Interestingly, however, April was less scared of that one than she was of the shorter, wider slide.
