* Fell in love with a book on page 5! I mean hard love, kids. Deep crushed-out infatuation. She's so dreamy!
* Ate lemon-vanilla sorbet! (So good. The vanilla reminds you that it's a floral, and normally I hate floral tastes/odors in food, but this worked.)
* Had an idea for an essay/discussion about kink that would unite my old "Dear John" letter, that fabulous essay on "Domism" at Yes Means Yes a while back, and Nick Mamatas' "Let Us Put an End to Geek Pride." Decided it would be like looking at the tiny splinter of a bridge I have left and shouting "who's got a match?"
* If I tied it in with 50 Shades of Grey, though, it would be totally timely and also 500% better than Katie Roiphe's Newsweek piece.
