i went and read the ap article and am shaking. both in anger and in fear.
i don't know if i got a chance to introduce you to her at wiscon (she was so busy with her kids), but my gf is an air traffic controller. she works here in minneapolis and fortunately even had 9/11 off.

if you had a chance to mention to your government representatives that you think that the faa should be better funded so they can hire more atc's, i'd appreciate it.
