Off to Chicago

pantryslutI am off to Chicago for the weekend, ostensibly to watch the US play Poland in soccer on Sunday. But also to see friends and give G. a taste of the old 'hood.
That means that today, I must do laundry (OK,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
imnotandrei is actually doing the laundry for me), put in an hour or so work for my new admin client, clean out the fridge, pack, and maybe even figure out how to take the Problem Child slush pile with me.
I also intend to eat ham and cheese sandwiches with plum chutney for lunch, followed by pizza and Babette's Feast withwild_irises and company as my evening wind-down. In case you were wondering and all.
The reading went well last night, and as soon as I replace the adapter cord to my digital camera, I will have pics of me in dress-up mode that night as well.
