OK, I admit it: it was a trick question. There are at least three registers that I use regularly as my "speaking voice." I have what G. described last night as a dulcet baritone (flatterer), a mid-range tone, and a higher, "social" tone that I use a lot on the phone, at parties, or when interacting with retail people. So I was curious -- which one would people associate with me?

My reading voice is closest to the middle register. So was my phone sex voice.

I used to sing soprano in choir, though I've lost some top notes since.

Maine Coon
You are a Maine Coon! You are larger than life, a
gentle giant. You are independent, but very
affectionate with your friends and family.

What breed of cat are you?

I knew there had to be a foodie here at work *somewhere*! Somebody made spring rolls *and* a spicy red pepper-eggplant dip served with toasted lavash for our holiday potluck today.

I made the pistachio mint goat cheese spread that [livejournal.com profile] imnotandrei tried out for Thanksgiving. The catch is, I made it *at work*, because I accidentally left the ingredients here overnight. There is nothing more attention-getting than assembling your potluck dish at in the break room, no matter how simple it is.
