The Monday Miscellany
Jan. 14th, 2008 10:50 am1. I continue to enjoy my new haircut. It looks vaguely nerdy but charming without product, and entirely dashing and charming with.
2. I did not roast the crab, but I cracked it and I made the sauce. A little butter, a little garlic and shallot, a little citrus, some salt and pepper and thyme. It was messy and delicious and just what I needed yesterday.
3. This morning, I finally, after innumerable tries, made the Caltrain connection that allowed me to get to work at a decent hour on my own -- and meant I didn't have to stand around at Millbrae for an hour in inadequate outerwear.
