Weekend Update

Why yes, I had a very nice weekend, thank you.

Highlights include:

* the weather
* needles in two contexts
* a really good batch of minestrone soup
* an impromptu visit to a favorite Asian grocery store
* tea and chocolate
* BBQ

And I almost made it out dancing, even.

Since it's that time of year anyway.

What sorts of things -- gestures, presents, occasions, etc. -- do you consider romantic? Why?
