McCaffrey's Law: The probability that in any discussion of SF and disability "The Ship Who Sang" will be mentioned in a positive light despite its odious politics is 100%.
Haberdasher's Law: In every discussion that mentions "fedora-wearers" as a class, at least one person will feel compelled to comment with some variation of "actually, they're all wearing Trilbys" without adding any further substantiative content whatsoever.
