But first, another post about work
Aug. 13th, 2004 05:43 pmHow to slow down at the office when you're not allowed to surf the Internet, talk on the phone, read, or do much of anything besides work:
1. Have long conversations over cubicle walls with your newfound friends. All one of them.
2. Take 20-minute breaks instead of 10-minute breaks.
3. Divide up returning folders into very small piles; make many round trips to and from cubicles.
4. Take the long way around to said cubicles.
5. Walk laps around the office space.
6. They say you should drink eight cups of water a day. Make many many trips to the office water cooler.
7. As a consequence of #6, make many many trips to the office bathroom.
8. Use the bathroom on the other side of the office.
9. Use the bathroom on another floor.
10. Add your own!
