Why I Love Zingerman's

"At Zingerman's, we pride ourselves on being behind the times, so it's not surprising we've kind of missed out on this whole low-carb thing. Carbohydrates are a key part of traditional diets, from Italian pasta to southern grits to bread -- itself a part of the world's food scene for at least the past 5,000 years. Most of these foods have been around a lot longer than our country, let alone its fantastic food obsessions (anyone remember 'low fat'?). We figure they've got at least another couple thousand years, so enjoy."
*
And now for something completely different:
Is it just me who thinks that 3/4 sleeves make people (OK, me) look like my laundry shrunk in the dryer?
*
And while we're at it:
Who says people don't talk about class? I think y'all set a record for the most number of comments in my LJ in the least number of hours. I think I'll have more to say later myself.
