pantryslutIf I had been smart about it, today would be the day to have scheduled a lunch date with someone -- in less than an hour, most of the office is heading to a three-hour luncheon celebrating the company's 20th anniversary. I'm not invited, because I am not an employee. So instead I get to twiddle my thumbs and take a loooong lunch break, I guess.
But I did have two lovely lunch dates earlier this week, with two LJ-ers. Thanks to both of you for enlivening my work day.

gordonzola brings attention to the literary poker variation we invented last night, the one where you have to come up with a good metaphor when you decide to fold: "I fold like a newly discovered protein" I believe was my contribution, which I generously donated to the player next to me. gordonzola said, "I don't think I even know what that means." That's OK, you're so not alone.
