Oct. 22nd, 2004 11:48 amThe problem with all these "you know you're from..." memes is that so many of them involve driving. I don't drive, so I just sort of roll my eyes at way too many of the entries, and then get bored and leave.
Although the bits in the Chicago version about shoveling out parking spaces and guarding them with a pair of dinette chairs and a broom were cute.

I wanted to offer a fuller version of my quirky jobs list, since everyone was so generous with theirs. But the fact is, after phone sex and phone psychic, the well begins to dry up. Perhaps my favorite is when I was working as an artist's model and a day care teacher at the same time. Other than that, I've done a lot of boring admin work, and a bit of less-boring editorial work, and a spot of freelance writing. Ho hum.
