My right ear piercing is getting crusty again, after a week or so of seeming to be completely healed. I think I may have wrenched it on the corner of the pillow or something. It doesn't seem to be red or irritated otherwise, though.

I had a piercing that kept doing that, no irritation. It went on for about two years. Once, on a hunch, I put some Metronidazole (Flagyl) on it. It's for bacterial infections. The piercing hasn't gotten crusty since, and it's been years. -nalo

Thanks. I'll keep up the ani-bacterial soap regimen for now, at the very least. Of course, my original bottle I bought from the piercing studio folk ran out this morning. Maybe G. has some left over.
