From Free Will Astrology:

Leo Horoscope for week of April 7, 2005

There are a number of organizations whose specialty is dreaming up new holidays. With their inventions added to the old standards, you now have the chance to goof off as you celebrate something or other on every single day of the year. I'll mention a few upcoming festivals that are perfect for you and your astrological needs. First there's No Housework Day on April 7. Avoid all humdrum domestic chores during that 24-hour period, and don't feel a trace of guilt. April 8 brings Take a Wild Guess Day, when you should entertain sudden inspirations and out-of-the-blue hunches. April 9 is Rebel against Your Past Day. Refuse to be controlled by what you used to be. On April 10, observe Fantastic Fantasy Day, a time when you should let your imagination run wild. April 11 is Wear Someone Else's Clothes Day, and April 12 is Be Big and Loud Day.

(I just want to say that every day is Be Big and Loud Day in my universe. ;))

Everyday should be April 9th.

Well in theory...

"Everyday should be April 9th."

The problem with this is that my rebellion would make me into Ann Coulter.

I'm sure you can come up with a more creative rebellion than that.

You know, April 9 is Saturday. I'm now imagining you in Eva Braun drag at a) the game and b) the party. It could work...

No, Brandi Chastain drag is as far as I'll go. Ain't gonna happen.

I guess you'll have to stick to rebelling against your past as, say, a lonely person instead, and be a social butterfly for the evenng.

Don't forget April 23rd, the 991st anniversary of the Battle of Clontarf, best celebrated by finding a Viking raider to beat the stuffing out of and drive from your homeland with his tail between his legs. [ Irish history's kind of lacking in battles where a) there's even one sympathetic side and b) they won, so I'll take what I can get. It's old enough to be nicely before the origin of modern sectarian divides, too. ]

Rob Breszny would not mention this, for it falls outside of the weekly horoscope format. Also, I don't think my heritage and familial prejudices allow me to celebrate this particular one. But otherwise it does sound like an occasion worth marking, yes.

In this Leo's universe, almost every day is Have Someone Else Wear Your Clothes Day. I'm definitely getting revenge on the 11th by swiping one of [livejournal.com profile] gramina's T-shirts -- maybe the one that says, "I am the evil twin."
